In the rapidly evolving telecom landscape, operators are under growing pressure to deliver seamless, intelligent, and personalized customer experiences while maintaining operational efficiency. At the heart of two consecutive TM Forum Open Innovation Catalyst Award-winning projects—“Realtime Intelligent Customer Experiences” (2024) and “GenAI Proactive Customer Care for 5G Monetization” (2025)—stands Arcturus, the AI-powered, self-healing order management platform developed by Qeema.
2024: Orchestrating Real-Time Experiences with Self-Healing Capabilities
In the “Realtime Intelligent Customer Experiences” Catalyst project, Arcturus served as the backbone for intelligent order fulfillment across a digital service provider’s ecosystem.
The solution focused on:
- End-to-end order lifecycle optimization: Arcturus managed all activities from order capture to fulfillment while orchestrating product, service, and resource inventory.
- Self-healing engine: Utilizing AI and integrated with Proxima, Arcturus detected anomalies in real time, diagnosed root causes, and automatically resolved issues. For instance, if a mismatch occurred between a product catalog and an order request, Arcturus would synchronize catalogs and update the order using TMF622 standards.
- Dynamic orchestration: Built-in fallback, retries, and smart decision-making ensured resiliency across systems and improved customer satisfaction.
- Seamless TMF integration: Orders flowed through standards like TMF622, while Kafka was used to trigger corrective actions when needed—demonstrating compliance, interoperability, and agility.
This project showcased how real-time, AI-driven orchestration can not only minimize revenue leakage but also elevate CX by ensuring error-free, intelligent fulfillment.
2025: Enabling Hyper-Personalized Engagements in the GenAI Era
Building on this foundation, Arcturus played a pivotal role once again in 2025—this time within the “GenAI Proactive Customer Care for 5G Monetization” Catalyst. The focus shifted to hyper-personalized, multimodal engagement powered by generative AI, and Arcturus proved essential in turning recommendations into revenue.
In this initiative:
- Arcturus enabled the transition from personalized engagement to order completion. After GenAI engines recommended the best offer based on real-time customer profiling, Arcturus handled order creation and fulfillment.
- Integrated with TMF APIs such as TMF622 (Product Ordering), TMF637 (Product Inventory), and TMF641 (Service Order), Arcturus ensured that every offer—however personalized—could be fulfilled seamlessly.
- It acted as the operational glue connecting front-end GenAI interfaces with back-end commerce and fulfillment engines.
Here, Arcturus was not just an automation platform—but a monetization enabler, bridging customer desire and technical delivery through AI and industry-standard integration.
“Arcturus is more than just a platform—it’s the conductor of your inventory and order management orchestra,” said Ahmed Amr, Partnership Manager at Qeema.
The Common Thread: Turning Intelligence into Action
Across both award-winning projects, Arcturus distinguished itself by:
- Enabling real-time responsiveness to customer needs
- Supporting modular, standards-based architecture for interoperability
- Automating complex fulfillment scenarios across product, service, and resource layers
- Embedding AI-driven decision-making to improve speed, reduce errors, and increase customer satisfaction
As telecom operators look to harness 5G, AI, and hyper-personalization for growth, Arcturus stands as a blueprint for how operational intelligence can be both adaptive and autonomous.
Looking Ahead
With telecom services becoming more dynamic, personalized, and digital-first, platforms like Arcturus will be essential to delivering resilient, revenue-generating customer experiences at scale. Its recognition in two consecutive TM Forum Catalyst projects is a testament to its innovation, scalability, and value.
Arcturus is not just managing orders—it is managing the future of telecom.
